Caregiver – Waterford, MI | Day and Evening Shifts

CareOne Senior Care is hiring dependable and compassionate caregivers for an ongoing couple's care assignment in Waterford, Michigan!

We are looking for reliable caregivers who can commit to recurring shifts throughout the week. This assignment offers two shift options and requires dependable transportation to assist with picking up meals for the clients.

Assignment Details

• Location: Waterford, MI

• Position: In-Home Caregiver

• Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour for standard caregiver assignments; eligible specialty and couples assignments may pay up to $22.50 per hour

• Available Days: Monday through Sunday

• Day Shift: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

• Evening Shift: 4:00 PM–9:00 PM

• Shift Length: 5 hours per shift

• Schedule: Recurring shifts, based on availability and scheduling needs

• Transportation: Reliable transportation is required to pick up lunch and dinner for the clients

What You'll Do

As a caregiver for this assignment, you will help support the clients' daily routines, comfort, and independence. Responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and friendly conversation

• Assisting with meal preparation and meal-related needs

• Picking up lunch and dinner for the clients

• Performing light housekeeping and laundry

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and incontinence care, as needed

• Supporting safe mobility and transfers according to the care plan

• Providing reminders and assistance with daily routines

• Following the clients' individualized care plans

• Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe home environment

• Communicating important updates to the office and care team

• Completing required shift documentation

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, compassionate, and comfortable providing in-home care.

Requirements include:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Reliable transportation to and from the client's home

• Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance and registration for assignments involving driving

• Access to a working cell phone

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to follow care instructions and company policies

• Ability to successfully complete the required background screening

• Current TB test or willingness to obtain one before employment begins

Previous caregiving experience is preferred. Experience with personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, or caring for couples is a plus. Training and guidance are provided as applicable to the assignment.
