We are seeking a compassionate caregiver to support an elderly woman with dementia in Allen Park, MI.

Schedule & Pay

• 1 day per week – 5 hours

• Day and time vary each month (based on scheduled appointments)

• $16.50/hour

 Requirements

• Must speak Gujarati or Hindi (she also speaks English)

• Kind, patient, and experienced with seniors

• Reliable and punctual

 Responsibilities

• Companionship, conversation, and engaging activities/games

• Gentle exercise and cognitive engagement

• Cooking simple Indian meals

• Assistance with shower set-up and toileting cleanup

• Light housekeeping

Caregiver Responsibilities (General)

• Companionship and emotional support

• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep

• Dementia/Alzheimer’s care

• Personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene

• Safe transfers using gait belts/Hoyer lifts (training provided)

• Transportation to outings, errands, and appointments

• Promoting safety, dignity, and comfort at all times

Job Requirements

• Strong communication skills (verbal & written)

• Physically able to lift 25 lbs., bend, kneel, and walk throughout shift

• At least 18 years old

• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and registration

• Reliable mobile phone for scheduling/communication

• Must pass background check

• Current TB test (can be completed after interview)
