Part-Time Caregiver – Rochester Hills, MI

CareOne Senior Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver for a consistent part-time assignment in Rochester Hills. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys providing one-on-one support, building a positive relationship with a client, and helping someone maintain their daily routine.

Schedule

• Monday: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM

• Thursday: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM

Applicants must be available for both scheduled shifts.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and friendly conversation.

• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.

• Support safe mobility using a gait belt and wheelchair.

• Assist with brief changes and personal care as needed.

• Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment.

• Accompany the client to physical therapy appointments when scheduled.

• Communicate updates and concerns with the client's wife and the CareOne Senior Care team.

• Follow the client's care plan and all safety guidelines.

Client and Assignment Details

This assignment is located at Cedarbrook in Rochester Hills. The client's wife is present and available for support. Caregivers must be comfortable assisting with mobility and personal care.

Pay and Benefits

• $15–$17 per hour for regular assignments

• Select specialty assignments paying up to $22.50 per hour

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must be dependable, patient, and compassionate.

• Must complete required background screening and TB testing.

• Must complete any required Cedarbrook paperwork.

• Must be willing to assist with mobility and personal care.

• Experience using a gait belt or assisting with wheelchair mobility is preferred.

• Transportation requirements vary by client assignment.
