CareOne Senior Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide support to a husband and wife in Shelby Township. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with couples, encouraging independence, and helping both individuals stay active, safe, and comfortable in their own home.

The main goal of this assignment is to help the couple maintain their quality of life and remain living safely at home for as long as possible.

Schedule

• Monday–Sunday: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and positive social interaction to both the husband and wife.

• Motivate and encourage both individuals to stay active and participate in daily activities.

• Support independence and help maintain daily routines.

• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.

• Promote safety and help prevent falls and other risks in the home.

• Encourage engagement in activities that support physical and emotional well-being.

• Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe living environment.

• Communicate updates and concerns with the family and the CareOne Senior Care team.

• Follow the established care plan and all safety guidelines.

Client and Assignment Details

This assignment involves providing care and companionship to a husband and wife in Shelby Township. The caregiver's main focus will be supporting both individuals, encouraging them to remain active, and helping them continue living safely and comfortably in their home.

We are looking for someone who is patient, encouraging, dependable, and comfortable providing care to two individuals during the same shift.

Pay and Benefits

• $15–$17 per hour for regular assignments

• Select specialty assignments paying up to $22.50 per hour

• Next-day pay options

• $150 referral bonus for eligible referrals

• Mileage reimbursement for approved transportation

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must be dependable, patient, compassionate, and encouraging.

• Must complete required background screening and TB testing.

• Must be comfortable assisting and providing companionship to a couple.

• Must be willing to encourage safe activity and support independence.

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred.

• Transportation requirements vary by client assignment.
