Caregiver – Bloomfield Hills, MI | Immediate Opening

CareOne Senior Care is currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate caregiver for a client in Bloomfield Hills. This position is ideal for someone comfortable providing hands-on care and looking for consistent hours with a supportive team.

Position Details:

Available Shifts:
• Every Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Every Other Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Every Saturday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Every Sunday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Every Sunday: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Pay:
• $18.00–$20.00 per hour
• Additional hours may become available

This position requires a caregiver who is reliable, attentive, and committed to providing high-quality care.

Client Care Needs:

• Hoyer lift transfers
• PEG tube assistance
• Wheelchair mobility support
• Transportation using the client's wheelchair-accessible van
• Assistance with personal care and daily routines
• Support with safety, comfort, and independence

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care, dressing, and hygiene
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as directed
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Assist with transfers and mobility support
• Accompany client to appointments and outings
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Communicate any changes or concerns to the office team

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license required
• Comfortable driving a wheelchair-accessible van
• Experience with Hoyer lifts preferred
• Experience with PEG tube care preferred
• Strong communication and reliability
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable phone for scheduling and communication
• TB test required (may be completed after interview)
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and assist with transfers throughout shift
